With hundreds of tourists and vacation
seekers visting the sunshine state every
year we though it would be a good idea
to provide some visitor information as
to advise you on the best time to visit
the sunshine state, what the visa requirments
are to visit and once you are here.
Firstly getting over here one always needs
to know about visa
and passport information.
From 1 October
2003, all British passport holders
will only be permitted to enter
the United States if they hold a machine
readable passport. The majority of ‘new
style’ red British passports are
machine readable, although those issued
outside the UK or those not in the new
style may not be. We have more information

Information section.
Secondly alot of travellers need to make
the important decision on what
time of year is best to visit Florida.
Floridas seasons are very different. Sometimes
it's hard to even tell if Floridians have
an autumn or spring because summer's
heat and humidity often last six months
or more. As a tradeoff, winters are generally
mild. Florida skies are unusually sunny,
except for a short spring rainy season
and
the daily thunderstorms that come and go
quickly in summer. Temperatures in Florida
are more moderate along the coasts, particularly
on the Atlantic side, which has a decent
sea breeze; the center of the state tends
to be a bit colder in winter and hotter
in summer.
Most enjoy vacations more when crowds
are thin and the weather is mild — spring
and fall in Florida. With the exception
of Orlando, rooms and (in some cases) other
expenses are cheaper during these seasons.
